a few years ago this place was mediocre, but recently the burritos I've gotten have been fantastic. i can't speak for any of the meat options but i highly recommend the vegetarian and vegan menu. also the burritos are HUGE.

Not only has this truck persevered and pivoted but their food is quality. I remember when they showed up and the food was tasty, accessible and easily modified. And you have always been full for less than $15 which is next level. Put this spot on your delicious food truck map. EDIT: Also to anyone leaving a bad review for this place? Eat glass. They’re working to manage at least two trucks and they’re a family. Find some empathy, you goblins.

The Al Pastor tacos were great! They were very patient with my mom even though she was giving them a bad time about the wait while they were especially busy. They gave us additional tacos for waiting and were really nice. Would definitely eat there again, great price too.

Just wanted a small snack and got a couple of their tacos. It hit the spot and was pretty tasty! Will definitely hit them up again when I'm back in this food pod!

I love this place. Last time they made fresh tacos and they were really good! They taste just like what you expect!

Consistently delicious food and great service. Have the pastor in any dish. It's some of the best in town.

Ok. This is probably one of the best Mexican food trucks in the area. It's my go-to when I'm near Hawthorne.

Amaaaaazing tacos! Every time I go I am transported to Mexico City tacos. My usual is Pastor and Carnitas single tacos and its just delicious, 4 or 5 will usually do it, with an Horchata agua fresca. They also own the churro stand that's next door and the churros transport me to Coyoacán, the land of the churros in Mexico. (churros have been closed and open due to Covid but you might be in luck and see them open). I miss Mexico su much and if that is your experience too don't look any further, this is the place that'll take you there with every bite. No photos... to good to stop for a photo.

El pastor is in its own category here! also their nachos need to come with a waning on how they are probably 3 pounds easily! You guys killed it! Thanks for the quick and delicious meal!

Chicken enchiladas and the Gauc were so delicious. Everything was homemade and fresh. El Brasero sets a high bar for authentic Mexican in Portland.
